Happy June !

Happy June everyone!  Also a big Happy Birthday to me!  Today I turned "something-two" !!! :)

A lovely shopping trip in celebration of my birthday yielded this gorgeous Valentina E. Couture yellow dandelion outfit that I found in the Zodiac Gemini collection.  I love love love the colors and what is more fun than dandelions..... reminding me of warm summer days and the joy of finding dandelions ready to blow into the wind. :)

My shoes were found on the same sim, at Decoy.  I love the design and the texture change hud for skin and nails was quite easy to use.  As I continued walking around the shops near Zodiac, I found the perfect jewelry set for my birthday outfit!  I'm wearing Maxi Gossamer's "Esra's Giant Teardrop" set consisting of earrings and necklace.  I really like the way it works with the outfit.

My hair is a recent release from Truth Hair called Lotus and my skin is out for the current Collabor88 from Glam Affair. My eyes are IKON, of course. :)

Baboom!

This lovely pink and green mesh dress is one of two dresses in the current group gift at Baboom!  I love how it is cut and textured.  I added the gorgeous Helena shoes from Redgrave.  There are 12 choices of shoe color and so many options for the different parts of the shoes.  The skin matching is a little daunting after being spoiled by the new Gos texturing system, but this shoe is so amazing it is worth the effort!

Lazy Sunday

One of the reasons I love Sundays in SL is Lazy Sunday.  Participating merchants place an item in the front of their shops marked down to $75 Lindens.  I always find really nice and interesting things to buy.  Today's look was fun to put together and started with the "End of Days" outfit from The Plastik.  There were several mix and match pieces in the folder making it possible to wear this item several days and no one would ever know it was all from the same outfit! 

The skin is also a Lazy Sunday item from Aeva/Heartsick.  I love the way it photographed in the windlight I chose.  I added makeup from White Widow, R.icielli, and luju to add more drama to my face.  Speaking of my face... you might notice I look a bit different in today's photos.  I've been playing around with a new shape, one that I've made myself.  I decided to use it today and I like the more serious look that it projects. :)

I wanted a dramatic backdrop for my photos so I teleported over to the LEA SoVA School of Virtual ART sim and found exactly what I was looking for.  It is a wonderful spot for photos and I hope to be able to explore more of it in the future!

Twisted Color Challenge - Autumn in Soho

Another week, another Twisted Color Challenge from Sookie Trellis!  This time the color combination is called "Autumn in Soho".  It is a very fallish color scheme, but I found exactly what I needed at Izzie's.  In fact, I'm dressed in Izzie's from head to toe... well, almost. :)

Izzie's lovely Irene skin is out for the Catnip Carnival. It comes in two shades, I'm wearing the pale shade.  Next, my crocheted top and leggings can also be found in Izzie's shop.  My shoes are Izzie's flower flats in gold/brown.  I finished off the look with Izzie's Leona bag in red and jewelry, also from Izzie's.  How lucky to find everything I needed in one shop, with the exception of the skin over at the Catnip Carnival.  I simply love it when an outfit falls in place effortlessly!

Coming Around Again

As I was shopping at Izzie's today, I spotted this lovely lingerie set that was still marked $75 L from the past weekend's Lazy Sunday!  It was a "had-to-have". :)

My hair is new from Truth and is called Gattina.  I'm wearing the Light Brown 02 shade.  My skin is out for the Catnip Carnival and is called Irene.  I'm wearing the pale shade.  I really love the subdued tones of the this skin and I know I'll be wearing it often. :)
