Peace On Earth Hunt 7 - Belladonna Couture, Lindy, Beloved Jewelry, and Beautiful Deluxe

The Peace On Earth Hunt 7 starts today!  For my first post on this much beloved event, I've chosen to wear a red and white ensemble from Belladonna Couture.  Delightfully embellished with a red nosed reindeer and candy cane pin, it is the perfect outfit to wear to a holiday party.  I added Beloved Jewelry's lovely Noella set for a sparkly touch and black pumps from Lindy to complete this holiday look.

Color Challenge Week 46 - Juniper

If I Were Rich & Sassy

Last night I was in the mood for a hunt and decided to do the "If I Were Rich" hunt.  I took a quick look at the blog for hints and urls and off I went.  My first stop yielded this lovely shape from $10 Shapes... and I actually located the prize for another hunt while I was there. Yay!

My next stop was Sassy! and the prize was this gorgeous sky blue gown with lace inserts.  It is a mesh item and I was able to wear the small size with the new shape.... AND I found another hunt prize while searching for the "If I Were Rich" hunt item.  Double Yay!

I added D!va hair, the lovely Manon from Collabor88 that everyone is raving about, and Atomic's Grace skin that is available at The Dressing Room.  I found the lovely necklace and earrings on Marketplace from C&C for only $10L each.  I do love a bargain, especially a well-made bargain. :)

I flew over to HuMaNoiD to photograph my outfit and found a great spot behind the "Dance to the Music" door.  HuMaNoiD never disappoints. :)

Vintage Fair, faMESHed, and Collabor88 Mash Up

Today's look is brought to you by Vintage Fair, faMESHed, and Collabor88. 

First, my dress is a Vintage Fair find... GOTZSCHE Wear's Midnight Vanguard.  The sequined texture reminds me of modern art and is really quite eye catching.  My funky eyewear is also from GOTZSCHE Wear.  I love the exaggerated shape and the color goes well with this multi-colored dress.

My necklace and earrings are from the latest edition of faMESHed, Maxi Gossamer's Madrah set.  Clicking on each piece brings up a menu that allows you to change the texture.  There are fourteen textures to choose from!

My leggings are from the current edition of Collabor88 and are actually from an outfit that I plan to show you later... Nylon Outfitters' Baroque Bustle Mini.  If you've not been to the latest edition  of Collabor88 yet.... GO NOW!!!  It is the one year anniversary of this wonderful event and every vendor who has ever participated has amazing items on display for your shopping pleasure!  The theme is Baroque and the colors are lush and textures are ornate.  It is definitely my favorite edition ever!

It really isn't easy being a princess... finding the perfect gown, the perfect crown, the perfect jewelry... wait a minute!  It IS easy being a princess in SL!

The lovely everso soft pink mesh gown I am wearing is a current item from Furore featured at the Acid Lily Gallery (and only $65L I might add!)  My crown is from Donna Flora's set of Sissy Crowns... yes, I bought the fatpack.  A girl can never have too many crowns!

My hair is from D!va and was actually a free lucky board prize.  Speaking of free... my earrings are also a free gift from Donna Flora, available in the shop!

My skin is from Belleza, Lily in Tan.  I'm wearing eyes from IKON's Horizon collection... in the most perfect shade of Pale Blue.

Color Challenge Week 25 - UnMellow Yellow

For this week's Color Challenge, I went inventory diving.  A search for "yellow" yielded this wonderful strapless top from blah Blah blah that I had picked up in The Fresh Unknown Hunt a couple of months ago.  The pants are from Piccara and I just adore the animal print.  The lovely scarf belt is from LeeZu. 

The hair I'm showing is a gorgeous non-mesh style from D!va and the skin is the current group gift from WoW Skins.  WoW Skin group costs $150 to join, but the gifts make it so worthwhile.  To complete the look, I chose a sunny necklace from Izzie's and a pair of Izzie's 70's style sunglasses to mellow out the unmellow yellow color challenge a bit.  :)

I've been searching for an online solution to crop my photos because I'm just not a Photoshop girl, although I am trying valiantly to learn and am progressing.... slowly, lol.  I decided to give PicMonkey.com a whirl and WOW... it is perfect for me!  I cropped the photo and darkened the edges slightly.  The tools are so easy to use and I highly recommend it to anyone who finds PS overwhelming at times. :)
