Say It Isn't So!

One of my favorite stores in Second Life, The Sea Hole, is closing soon.  This makes me sad because I've always enjoyed the creator's original style and flair for producing unique clothing to dress up in.  I wish you all the best, Drinkinstein Sorbet... you will be sorely missed !!!

Color Challenge Week 46 - Juniper

I absolutely love the color juniper and I found the perfect outfit for the color challenge at the newest edition of Collabor88.  I'm wearing The Sea Hole's Painted Desert Bodysuit and matching mini skirt.  My hair is D!va's Daria, also from Collabor88.  My jewelry is from Mustang Trading Post , a lovely set called Tatonka.  The photo was taken in a gorgeous house that I tp'd into while searching for a nice cabin for this photograph.  I think it is actually someone's home but I couldn't help but stay for a few minutes for the snapshot.  I might have committed burglery so shhhh.... don't tell anyone! ;-)

Color Challenge Week 45 - Bittersweet

I love a lazy Sunday, especially in Second Life.  I visited all of the shops on participating in this week's Lazy Sunday event and found some really nice things, each for only $75L.  I simply adore this trunk from What Next.  It features animations for male and female and all are of excellent quality.  Lucky for me the color fits in nicely with this week's color challenge. 

My outfit is from The Sea Hole and is really fun to wear.  I added the GTFO boots from Gos and they match the shorts perfectly.  My nails are another Lazy Sunday item from Izzie's. 

Eyes are the November Group Gift from IKON and jewelry is from Addiction, another Lazy Sunday item.  Hair is from Illusory, a style I purchased last year and simply love. 

Bittersweet.... a lovely color and feeling. :)

Collabor88 and C i c a

My second trip to Collabor88's October edition yielded this oh-so-pretty outfit from The Sea Hole.  The top is mesh, the pants are not.  I love the colors!

I added mesh feet and the Ilena sandals from Slink.  I think Slink's texture hud is one of the very best I've ever used.  This look is so spring-like... I decided to go for contrast and teleported over to C i c a for the photo session.  This art exhibit is so amazing..... everything in black and white and hand drawn!  It looks almost like winter. :)

My hair is Janice from Truth Hair and my skin is League's Isla.  My eyes...... are my absolute favorite eyes I've ever worn... IKON's Kaleido Eyes in Reef.

The Sea Hole @ Collabor88

This lovely sweater and pants ensemble I'm wearing is another great find at the latest edition of Collabor88.  I'm wearing The Sea Hole's Mister Trousers and Harvard Sweater.  There are lots of color combinations to choose from... I chose "Sherbert". :)

My jewelry is also a Collabor88 item...LaGyo's Mother's Pearl Earrings, Necklace, and Ring.  Clicking each item brings up a texture change menu that allows you to change textures for both the pearls and the metals.

I'm still wearing Glam Affair's Lilith from the previous post..... it went so well with this outfit I couldn't bear to take it off.  I added one of my favorite non-mesh hairstyles, Georgina from Truth and shoes from G Field.  I'm posing in a skybox I've just finished... been on a building kick lately. :)

Color Challenge Week 33 - Tyrian Purple

According to Wikipedia, Tyrian Purple, also known as Royal Purple, is a purple-red dye that is extracted from snails.  It was prized by the ancients because the color became more intense with age rather than fading. :)

I knew there was a reason I liked snails... ;)

It is a beautiful color and I had fun hunting just the right outfit for Luna's challenge.  Thank you Luna for creating this wonderful and educational challenge!

Tutti Frutti & Exile @ Culture Shock

After stripping every prim and script off my avatar and 137 failed teleports, I finally made it in to Culture Shock Friday night... yay!!!!  I managed to make it around to almost half of the shops before crashing and what lovely and amazing things I found!  I can't wait to go back to see the rest and make another round!  I picked up this awesome mesh top and pants from Tutti Frutti... I just love the coral color of the top and the combination of paisley and dots makes me happy.  My shoes are the new mesh sandals from Mons and my hair...... an amazing new mesh style called Groove Theory from Exile.  I bought the natural pack and I'm showing you the Marone shade.

My earrings are the Nausicaa Laurel Earrings from The Sea Hole and my eyes are one of two free sets of gorgeous eyes from IKON that comprise this month's group gift!  The group is free to join and oh my these are my most favorite eyes ever!  Hurry to get yours...... they are only out this weekend!  Skin is Jen from League and lashes from DAMNED, of course. ;)

Today's outfit is one that won't break the bank.  The 22769 leggings are available at The Black Market for only L$40.  The Ricielli top is on sale for L$50 and the Ricelli Carmelia pumps are also only L$50!  I don't know how long the Ricielli sale will last, but as of this moment everything is on sale! 

I picked up my jewelry (The Sea Hole) from Collabor88 (February Edition).  The ring and bracelet set were only L$88 and the earrings were also L$88.
