Time Sensitive Gift From Chrysalis!

This beautiful mesh gown is a free group gift from Chrysalis!  It is only available for three days, so hurry over to Chrysalis to pick it up.  It is located upstairs in the outlet.  While you are there, take a look at the stunning gowns and outfits in the shop.... creativity abounds!

The skin I'm wearing is also a free group gift... this one from Al Vulo.  I love the make up and the sweet look of this face.  There is a little highlight just below the lower eyelid that makes the eyes pop! A wonderful skin that I will be wearing often!

LoLa @ Acid Lily Gallery

Acid Lily Gallery, the fabulous fashion showcase, is all NEW with wonderful creations all under $70L each!  For today's look, I've chosen this fun ensemble from LoLa.  I love the worn look of the jeans.  The top is mesh and I'm wearing the small size.  It is nicely shaped and the texture is perfect for this look.  It is hard to see from the photographs, but the graphic on the shirt is "Sweet". :)

The outfit also includes the black bangles.  I added my favorite belt from Pepper and engineer boots from CoCo.  My hair is a gorgeous mesh style from Elikatira called Caramel and my skin is the lovely Julia from Al Vulo.

It's a fun and sweeeeeeeet look that I've fallen in love with and one that I'll be wearing often!

Color Challenge Week 33 - Tyrian Purple

According to Wikipedia, Tyrian Purple, also known as Royal Purple, is a purple-red dye that is extracted from snails.  It was prized by the ancients because the color became more intense with age rather than fading. :)

I knew there was a reason I liked snails... ;)

It is a beautiful color and I had fun hunting just the right outfit for Luna's challenge.  Thank you Luna for creating this wonderful and educational challenge!

Vintage Fair, faMESHed, and Collabor88 Mash Up

Today's look is brought to you by Vintage Fair, faMESHed, and Collabor88. 

First, my dress is a Vintage Fair find... GOTZSCHE Wear's Midnight Vanguard.  The sequined texture reminds me of modern art and is really quite eye catching.  My funky eyewear is also from GOTZSCHE Wear.  I love the exaggerated shape and the color goes well with this multi-colored dress.

My necklace and earrings are from the latest edition of faMESHed, Maxi Gossamer's Madrah set.  Clicking on each piece brings up a menu that allows you to change the texture.  There are fourteen textures to choose from!

My leggings are from the current edition of Collabor88 and are actually from an outfit that I plan to show you later... Nylon Outfitters' Baroque Bustle Mini.  If you've not been to the latest edition  of Collabor88 yet.... GO NOW!!!  It is the one year anniversary of this wonderful event and every vendor who has ever participated has amazing items on display for your shopping pleasure!  The theme is Baroque and the colors are lush and textures are ornate.  It is definitely my favorite edition ever!

My hair is from an earlier edition of Collabor88, D!va's Vivienne.  I love this messy updo and I wear it often. :)

LIV-Glam @ Acid Lily Gallery

I received a notecard announcing that Acid Lily Gallery was new so I rushed over and quickly snapped up this lovely dress from LIV-Glam.  I love the texture and the cut of this dress... the sleeves are really well done!  This dress also comes with a texture change HUD and there are SEVEN different colors to choose from!

I added G Field's Alex Strap Shoes in Lime.... I just love lime green!  My nails are Izzie's Classic Nails and I'm wearing them in lime green as well. :)

My hair is a gorgeous style from Elikatira called Caramel.  I'm wearing Blonde 07 from the Essentials Collection.  It fits and moves with my avatar beautifully!  My skin is new from Al Vulo!, a very pretty skin called Julia.  I was delighted to find a set of mesh eyelashes included in the skin folder... the first set I've ever owned.  I found them very easy to adjust to fit my eyes and I'm a convert to mesh lashes now!

FireBird Designs Vintage Ruffle Dress

Today I'm showing you FireBird Designs Vintage Ruffle Dress.  The skirt is mesh, so you'll need an updated viewer to see it properly.  I love the flirty ruffles on the skirt and it looks very realistic.  I'm so happy that the creator, Dalriada Delwood, has included five skirt sizes in the folder.  I had no trouble finding one to fit me perfectly!

I accessorized this dress with jewelry from Apple May Designs and Snatch.  The skin I'm wearing is Al Vulo's Yulia Dream of Midnight and is available at the Grunge Soul Project for a wonderfully low price!  My hair is Georgina from Truth and is one of my favorite non-mesh styles.

I chose one of my favorite spots to photograph, Lost World for this photo.  There are so many twists and turns on this sim... it may take months to learn my way around! :)

Color Challenge Week 15 - Seashell Peach

Color Challenge Week 13 - Tea Green

This is one of my most favorite colors and one that always makes me think of spring!  My skirt and top are from GField and let me say the textures are glorious!  The skirt is sculpted but skillful sculpting and a helpful alpha make it fit beautifully and look amazing!  A bit of inventory diving yielded a lovely pearl jewelry set from Dark Mouse that was offered as a free gift at the 2011 Jewelry Fair.  My hair is a freebie from Beautiful Dirty Rich, and my skin is Alice from Al Vulo.

I Will Catch You, But You Might Break The Fall

Today I'm showing the latest group gift from Al Vulo.  This skin is called "Corinna" and is free to group members.  My hair is "Karena" from Exile and I'm wearing it in Fawn.  This style is the free color demo hair and is a great way to try out all of Exile's hair colors.  I'm wearing Dreamcatcher jewelry from Apple May Designs.  I love this set and I'm finding myself wearing it with lots of different outfits.

I love this off-shoulder chiffon top from GField.  It looks so light and airy and the daisies give it such a summery feel.  I paired it with Heidi jeans from Doppelganger and the new Alex T-Strap shoes from GField.

I mentioned in a previous post that I purchased the "Comfort Is Home" prefab from Designer Prims at the Back To Black event.  I simply love this little house!  It comes with the furnishings I'm showing here and is packed with animations and texture changes.  Furnished it weighs in at 116 prims and unfurnished it is only 45 prims.  All lighting and furniture are not linked so they are easily removed if needed.

The fireplace and sink are touch on and off and the sink is animated for those times when you just need to wash dishes. :)

The stove is animated as well.  Looks like I need to go shopping for pots and pans!

Whew!  After all that cooking and cleaning, it's time to relax on this animated couch with texture change pillow.  I love this house and it has become my favorite "home away from home".
