Designer Showcase - Liv Glam and BSD Design Studio

The fun never ends at Designer Showcase!  Today I'm wearing Liv Glam's gorgeous outfit called "I'm Into You".  I love the tapestry texture of the halter top and the high waist pants are delightfully cut to create a gorgeous silhouette.  I've added a fantastic handbag from BSD Design Studio, also available at Designer Showcase.

Twisted Color Challenge Week 7 - Truffle Valley

I'm 7 weeks late joining this wonderful color challenge for bloggers hosted by Sookie Triellis.  Better late than never, I always say!

 

The color combo for this week's challenge is called Truffle Valley.  Makes me think of little pink pigs rooting out truffles in a misty valley somewhere.... well one can dream, lol.

 

My take on this color combination features clothing from Ricielli.  The scarf is from R.icielli's Valentine Hunt that is currently in progress and the top is one I bought while doing this wonderful hunt.  Even the skin & eyeliner I'm wearing are Valentine Hunt prizes!

Cynful @ The Dressing Room

The Dressing Room never disappoints and I enjoy shopping there every week.  There are lots of wonderful fashions for sale there and I think I bought them all!  The first look from my shopping spree is this sexy black turtleneck mini dress by Cynful.  There are more than one sleeve option and I settled on the 3/4 sleeve for today's photo session.  I added tights from an earlier edition of TDR... I just love these black tights from A&A Fashion!  The shoes were practically a steal at $30L and are from Glow Studio.  My necklace and ring are also new TDR items from LaGyo and I love the color change options. :)

 

My skin is also from TDR... essences' Maria Skin.  There are two tattoo layer makeups included in the skin folder and I'm wearing the blush option.  The hair I'm wearing is a free gift from Amacci located in Amacci Hair, along with two other free hairstyles.

Color Challenge Week 47 - Barley Corn

 

My outfit for this week's Color Challenge was found at R.icielli. I was doing the Charming Hunt when I spied this skirt hanging on the wall... Bingo! The blazer was a hunt prize and I thought it paired nicely with the skirt. The top is part of a dress from Nil's Island Store and the shoes are from Mstyle.

Earlier in the day, I found this gorgeous hairstyle at Amacci for the amazing price of "free"!  There are three free hair gifts hanging on the wall  in the hair shop... be sure to check it out!  Lots of hair goodness at Amacci! (Thank you pnny lane for pointing out the error!)

Honestly I thought I'd have to bow out of the challenge this week, because Barley Corn was a really hard color for me to find... but thanks to R.icielli, I found the right color and lots of other amazing hunt gifts, each for only $15L!

G Field & Amacci Gifts Galore!

I have some wonderful Halloween gifts to tell you about today!  First is this lovely black and purple gown from G Field!  It actually comes in two versions, the purple that I'm showing in the photos, and an orange version.  It comes complete with the spider choker.

I'm wearing three group gifts from Amacci. the skin, hair, and eyes!  The hair comes in several color variations to help you achieve just the right look.  The skin is a pale tone and features silvery makeup.  The eyes are a lovely shade of winter. :)

Photos were taken in front of a haunted house that I built along with my friend, Renaee Avindar as part of the Spooky Dreams/Building on the 1024 competition.  Voting is open and feel free to drop a few lindens into our sign.  Proceeds go to help keep the Dreams sim open and the monthly building contests going.

Goodbye Spirit

spirit, claudia222 jewell's amazing mesh art installation is closing on Sunday.  It has been one of my favorite places in SL ever since it opened several months ago.  I rushed over there tonight to take photos as did lots of other spirit fans.  As the sim filled up, the lag grew exponentially, but I managed to snap these photos in between crashes.  :)

I'm wearing the Deylta from DE Designs.  The attachments are mesh while the rest is system clothing.  I just love the jacket.  I added boots from lassitude & ennui.  My tattoo is a really nice one from Dream Ink even though it is pretty hard to see in these photos.

If A Picture Paints A Thousand Words

FireBird Designs has released a set of four off-shoulder shirts each with a great work of art on the front. It was hard to choose one to wear, but Mona really caught my eye. :)

I paired the shirt with my favorite non-mesh jeans from LeeZu and added Slink's oh-so-awesome mesh feet and Ilena Sandals. The feet come with a fantastic hud to match skin and lots of nail colors.  The Ilena Sandals are made to work with the feet and there are lots of colors to choose from.

 

 

I'm wearing League's Isla skin with a new shape that I picked up at The Black Market called Monica from DJ Designs.  My hair is a former group gift from Truth named Bunny and my earrings are from The Mustang Trading Post.

 

I picked up this wonderful stump table set at HappyMood and I absolutely love it!  The paint brushes come with the set and are a perfect accent for my Mona Lisa Top.

Now, if I only knew how to paint... ;-)

Nylon Outfitters @ Collabor88

The new edition of Collabor88 is the best ever!  The theme is "Baroque" and the designers have simply outdone themselves!  Collabor88 is celebrating their first birthday and there are almost twice the number of vendors involved this time around!

This wonderful outfit from Nylon Outfitters caught my eye immediately!  I love the colors, the interesting combination of elements and textures.  Oh, and it's not mesh! (That's for all my friends who haven't quite embraced mesh yet, lol!)

I did some inventory diving and found the plum leggings from Slut and the G Field mesh boots (Gina in purple).

The Yummy Moonsung earrings and necklace, also available at Collabor88, fit in perfectly with the outfit.  My skin is Glam Affair's Roza BaroQ 03.  There are three versions of Rosa on display at Collabor88... I chose the third and added eyeshadow from Mons and lipgloss from luju. 

My hair is another gorgeous mesh style from Elikatira called "Found".  I'm wearing the Blonde 07 shade from the Essentials pack. 

I love this "baroque" look so much... I think I'll go play my harpsichord now. :)

I'm faMESHed!

The newest collection of mesh awesomeness is out at faMESHed and I just couldn't resist the lovely Gina Belted Dress from Valentina E. Couture.  In fact, I think it actually jumped into my shopping bag on its own!  Seriously, it is very well made and fits like a dream.  I like that the designer included two sizes of alpha layers to choose from!  This dress is available in four variations and there are five sizes included in each folder.  My hair is Wasabi Pill's Sylvie and I'm wearing the chocolate shade from the brown pack. 

I love love love this necklace and earrings set from Maxi Gossamer!  First, because it is attractive and fits well, and secondly because it is color changeable!  Fourteen colors to be exact!  I have a feeling I will be wearing this set often!

My skin is NEW from League... the lovely Isla.  I'm wearing Isla in Suntan.  I became a League skin fanatic with the last release, the gorgeous Jen amd Isla is just as lovely, if not lovelier!

A Little Bird Told Me

A little bird told me there was a hunt going on at Ruxy Designs and I tp'd over to find it was indeed true!

There are 10 sweet little birds hidden around the shop and each one contains a free fabulous gift from Ruxy Designs.  I'm wearing the gift inside the #1 bird, a gorgeous green and magenta gown that swirls magnificently as I twirl around.  :)
