Ricielli Birthday Hunt, Chop Zuey Gifts, and Gos

Lazy Sunday

One of the reasons I love Sundays in SL is Lazy Sunday.  Participating merchants place an item in the front of their shops marked down to $75 Lindens.  I always find really nice and interesting things to buy.  Today's look was fun to put together and started with the "End of Days" outfit from The Plastik.  There were several mix and match pieces in the folder making it possible to wear this item several days and no one would ever know it was all from the same outfit! 

The skin is also a Lazy Sunday item from Aeva/Heartsick.  I love the way it photographed in the windlight I chose.  I added makeup from White Widow, R.icielli, and luju to add more drama to my face.  Speaking of my face... you might notice I look a bit different in today's photos.  I've been playing around with a new shape, one that I've made myself.  I decided to use it today and I like the more serious look that it projects. :)

I wanted a dramatic backdrop for my photos so I teleported over to the LEA SoVA School of Virtual ART sim and found exactly what I was looking for.  It is a wonderful spot for photos and I hope to be able to explore more of it in the future!

Twisted Color Challenge Week 7 - Truffle Valley

I'm 7 weeks late joining this wonderful color challenge for bloggers hosted by Sookie Triellis.  Better late than never, I always say!

 

The color combo for this week's challenge is called Truffle Valley.  Makes me think of little pink pigs rooting out truffles in a misty valley somewhere.... well one can dream, lol.

 

My take on this color combination features clothing from Ricielli.  The scarf is from R.icielli's Valentine Hunt that is currently in progress and the top is one I bought while doing this wonderful hunt.  Even the skin & eyeliner I'm wearing are Valentine Hunt prizes!

If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don't Want To Be Right

Oh my!  I've fallen deeply into love with this new release from Gos, the Grace Sandal in Electric Blue!  The reason... the hud & website (complete with username and password!) that allow you to match your skin EXACTLY and PERFECTLY!  Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Gospel Voom! 

Matching shoes to skin has been the most painful process for me in the past... but those days are OVER!  I'm so excited that not only has the creator revolutionized the process, but he also released FOUR new styles in gorgeous colors using the new hud.  If you listen closely now, you just might hear angels singing the Hallelujah Chorus! ;-)

In the closeup photo above you can just barely make out the line where mesh meets avatar, but it is really not obvious enough that I'd be at all worried about it. 

Now on to the rest of my outfit...

I'm wearing a fantastic dress in the perfect shade of electric blue to match my shoes.  The dress comes in a fat pack of R.icielli bandage dresses that are currently available at The Dressing Room Fusion.  The price is amazingly low and I love how the dress fits my avatar. 

I accessorized my outfit with jewelry by Yummy, available at the current edition of Collabor88.  My hair is one of my all-time favorites from elikatira, a style called Caramel.  My eyes are from the wonderful Kaleidoscope collection, available at IKON.  I love how the texture really makes the color pop and my goal is to collect every color in this wonderful set of eyes.

Color Challenge Week 47 - Barley Corn

 

My outfit for this week's Color Challenge was found at R.icielli. I was doing the Charming Hunt when I spied this skirt hanging on the wall... Bingo! The blazer was a hunt prize and I thought it paired nicely with the skirt. The top is part of a dress from Nil's Island Store and the shoes are from Mstyle.

Earlier in the day, I found this gorgeous hairstyle at Amacci for the amazing price of "free"!  There are three free hair gifts hanging on the wall  in the hair shop... be sure to check it out!  Lots of hair goodness at Amacci! (Thank you pnny lane for pointing out the error!)

Honestly I thought I'd have to bow out of the challenge this week, because Barley Corn was a really hard color for me to find... but thanks to R.icielli, I found the right color and lots of other amazing hunt gifts, each for only $15L!

R.icielli @ The Dressing Room

Today's look is a gorgeous mesh coat dress from R.icielli currently at The Dressing Room for a greatly reduced price.  (The price makes it even better!)  I added tights from A&A Fashion, also at The Dressing Room for a reduced price.  Shoes were a no-brainer... my go-to shoes, Mstyle's Goshi Pumps.

My hair is new... Azrea from Truth.  I love it!  Skin is the lovely Cassiopea from Glam Affair.  If I look a little different, I'm auditioning a new shape.  I tell you more about her later.  :)

Color Challenge Week 33 - Tyrian Purple

According to Wikipedia, Tyrian Purple, also known as Royal Purple, is a purple-red dye that is extracted from snails.  It was prized by the ancients because the color became more intense with age rather than fading. :)

I knew there was a reason I liked snails... ;)

Chrysalis & A Free Skybox

As I was browsing The Marketplace this morning, I ran across this lovely dress from Chrysalis for an even lovelier price of free!  I quickly placed my order and fell in love with it the moment I put it on.  The white skirt flows beautifully and the black bows and butterflies make it pop!
