Purple Moon Creations - 20,000 Members Group Gift

The gorgeous gown I'm wearing is a free gift from Purple Moon Creations for group members.  It is graciously given by the creator, Paulet Koenkamp to celebrate reaching the amazing number of  20,000 group members!  The gown is a delightful blend of bright colors set against a turquoise background.  It is adorned with flowers to be worn on the chest and in the hair.

The earrings and necklace I'm wearing is from Rebel Hope.  Hair is from LeLutka, one of my favorite updos simply named "Knotted".  Skin is from League and the gorgeous eyes are from IKON.

Shine @Designer Showcase

I took a trip down to Designer Showcase and found this wonderful floral dress for only $99 L!  It comes with a really nice belt, but I snapped the photos before I realized I'd not put it on and I think it looks really great with or without the belt!

I added jewelry from Chop Zuey that worked beautifully with the colors and design of the dress.  Checking back in my notes, I found that the jewelry was offered as group gifts a few months ago.  Belle Rousel is so generous with her group, giving not one but multiple gifts every month!  I value my membership in the Chop Zuey group!

My shoes are an oldie but wonderful goodie from Mstyle. The shoes I'm wearing are sculpted prims, but they are now available in mesh!  Time for me to update!

Color Challenge Week 48 - Tangelo

I love citrus colors and tangelo is no exception!  I found this delightful romper dress at Tee*fy and I love the way it looks and fits so perfectly.  I added Maxi Gossamer's Giselle Opal Set in tangerine (I know, tangerine is not tangelo, but it is close!).  The set includes earrings, necklace in three sizes, and a ring in two sizes.  My hair is new from LeLutka.  It is called Ella and I'm wearing it in the Marilyn shade.  I just love this hair!  I bought the "naturals" pack and I love that I can wear it as blonde, brown, red, and black!

My skin is FAKE's Licia Skin and it is a current item at The Dressing Room Blue.  Be sure to visit TDRB soon because this is the final collection and the doors will close at the end of this round.

I found the location for this shot by looking through the Destination Guide.  It's called "The Garden" and looks to be quite an interactive sim with a game hud for sale at the entrance.  I'm sure I'll be back to play the games. :)

$55L Thursday @ Innuendo

What a pretty black mesh cocktail dress I found today at Innuendo!  It is a $55L Thursday special and includes the dress, gloves, shoes, necklace, and hat.  I'm showing the dress, shoes, and gloves in the photo above.  I added a black pearl necklace combo from Maxi Gossamer and new hair from LeLutka called Ella.

I pulled out Bent's CyberMatrix pose prop from my inventory, something I purchased a few months ago.  There are ten wonderful poses included in the prop and the menu allows you to adjust your position so that you are perfectly placed in each shot.  The colors in the box are black and neon green, but I felt that a black and white treatment of this photo would be more dramatic. :)

Goodbye Spirit

spirit, claudia222 jewell's amazing mesh art installation is closing on Sunday.  It has been one of my favorite places in SL ever since it opened several months ago.  I rushed over there tonight to take photos as did lots of other spirit fans.  As the sim filled up, the lag grew exponentially, but I managed to snap these photos in between crashes.  :)

I'm wearing the Deylta from DE Designs.  The attachments are mesh while the rest is system clothing.  I just love the jacket.  I added boots from lassitude & ennui.  My tattoo is a really nice one from Dream Ink even though it is pretty hard to see in these photos.

Acid Lily Gallery Newness

Acid Lily Gallery is fast becoming one of my favorite designer showcase events.  Each week there is a new collection on display and nothing in the shop is over $70L!  Today I made a quick trip and came away with this lovely mesh romper from BeReckless.  I simply adore the sweet colors and the look is so comfortable!

I also picked up a new shape, Lily from Yingy.  There were three sizes in the folder to choose from... short, medium, and tall.  I chose the tall version because my normal shape is quite tall and I like the view from up there... ;-)

I was pleased to find that Lily fit the small mesh size (the size I normally wear) and I liked the way she fit into League's Jen in Sunkiss skin. :)

This romper has a "summer at the beach" feel about it, so I added LeLutka's Trend Hair in Sweeden to carry on with the theme.  Next I pulled jewelry from Glow Studio from my inventory and a cute bracelet from Sleeping Koala that doesn't seem to be available anymore.  Maitreya Gold flip flops complete the look.

Fun in the sun... oh yeah!

Sleeping Koala - My 60's Block Mini Dress

Vintage Fair is set to open on August 4th, 2012 and I can't wait!  Sleeping Koala will be there celebrating the fashion of the 60's.  The dress I'm wearing is called My 60's Block Mini Dress and looks fantastic!  I love the bold look and it fits perfectly.  It is available in five colors... blue, green, orange, pink, and red.  So many to choose from... I think I'll take them all!

I added the Vinyl Vintage Boots in black from The Secret Store.  My hair is Trend from Lelutka and my skin is League's Jen in Deep Tan.

Mons Summer Love

Today's look is almost exclusively from Mons.  This gorgeous mesh dress is from the new "Summer Love" collection and the colors are brilliant! I do LOVE my Summer dress from Mons!  I accessorized with the Croco Clutch and the Metal Bangles in gold, also from Mons.  I found the perfect shoes already in my inventory, Mstyle's Goshi Pumps in Magenta.

 

My hair is a beautiful updo from LeLutka called Knotted and I'm wearing the Burnt shade from the dark brown collection.  My skin is one I've shown quite a bit lately, League's Jen in deep tan.  As soon as I was dressed, I spied a wonderful spot right outside the shop for my photos.  It was a lovely day to shop at Mons!

Purple Moon Loveliness

The start of every weekend always calls for a trip to Purple Moon Creations.  I love to pop in and see the deals that have been set out for shop patrons.  This weekend's choices are fabulous!  The outfit I am wearing is called BoHo Look 1 and it is only $55L !  I love the rich colors and the textures are simply magnificent!  There is a second version of this in black and it is also $55L.  An incredible deal and many thanks to Poulet Koenkamp for being so wonderful to us!

I added a lovely set of earrings and necklace from Glow Studio that is available at The Dressing Room Blue for only $70L.  I'm wearing Jen in Deep Tan, the newest skin from League.  My hair is a gorgeous style from LeLutka called Jolie.  The photos were taken at HuMaNoiD, an amazingly photogenic sim that I encourage everyone to visit!

Flower Dancer

Sometimes a girl just has to put on a pretty blue goddess dress and twirl about in the flowers.  In fact, I highly recommend it because I was feeling pretty down and out before the dance but afterwards... I was floating on air. :)

Today's look began with a pose.  I love to make poses and had an image in my mind that I wanted to create for a photo at HuMaNoiD (my newest favorite place to take photos, lol).  Once the pose was uploaded to SL, it was time to find the perfect outfit.  This pretty blue goddess costume from SeVered GarDeN has been languishing in my inventory for quite some time and I knew this was the perfect time to use it.  When I checked the Marketplace to see if it was still available, I found it was not only available but being offered at a discount!

Woohoo!  I challenge you to slip on a pretty dress and dance barefoot in the flowers... it's the perfect cure for a bad day!

A Happy Day of Shopping

Today I took a trip to the Cupcakes sim to shop.  It is a lovely shopping area built around a square, making it easy to stroll around to every shop.  

There were so many wonderful things for sale here........ skins, dresses, and shapes galore!  I could barely contain my joy and found myself skipping happily from shop to shop!

In the center of the square, I found some lovely items offered at tremendous discounts!  Two lovely lingerie sets, each only $25L... which one shall I choose?  

Oh!  Look at these lovely mesh sweaters...... only $50L each!  I think I'll take them both!



Just before I left this lovely sim, I found the lucky chairs, midnight mania boards, and the cupcake lottery... hurray!!!  A couple of slaps and a bit of waiting later, I teleported away with some great prizes, fantastic bargains, and a landmark so that I could return later for more shopping fun!

Today's look is a mish-mash of things old and new, some free, some not quite free, and some definitely not free. :)

I started with the pants, which are a hunt prize from Siss Boom in the April in Paris Hunt.  They were not quite free...... forgot exactly how much, but it was nominal considering there was a lovely lace top included in the prize package.  My shirt is from Coco... something I purchased in 2011 and love.  Such a clean, sexy, casual look!  My shoes are from Toki Doki and my belt is from Pepper.  The belt  has a texture change menu and I just love all the colorways!  The ring I'm wearing is a free gift from Crash Republic offered at the Kawaii Fair.  It is hard to see how lovely it is in this photo, so go visit Kawai Fair and get your own!
