Today I'm showing one of my favorite dresses of the summer.  It is from coldLogic, a style called Spelling.  I love the cut of this halter style dress and I'm wearing it in the yummy color combo of sea and mocha.  My earrings are a lovely set from The Mustang Trading Post and shoes are Mstyle's Goshi pumps.  My hair is Portia from Truth and my skin is Jen from League.

So Close

Collabor88 is absolutely amazing this month!  So many wonderful things to choose from!  Today's look includes shorts and sequined top by Tres Blah, skin and glasses by Glam Affair, and jewelry by Yummy.  All can be found at Collabor88.

Shoes are oldies but goodies from G Field, and with three strap options, they'll continue to be some of my most favorite shoes ever!  My hair is a lovely style from Truth named Portia.

The pose I'm using today was given to me by my friend Good Cross.... one he calls "So Close".  I can't locate it on his marketplace shop, but perhaps he'll put it up for sale one day...hint hint!  He is also the creator of the location for today's photo... a sim he designed and has opened up to the public called Megiddo.  It is chock full of photo opportunities with props and poses for use by visitors.  It's a wonderful place to explore and experience!

Baboom!

This lovely pink and green mesh dress is one of two dresses in the current group gift at Baboom!  I love how it is cut and textured.  I added the gorgeous Helena shoes from Redgrave.  There are 12 choices of shoe color and so many options for the different parts of the shoes.  The skin matching is a little daunting after being spoiled by the new Gos texturing system, but this shoe is so amazing it is worth the effort!

Get Your Tango On!

As I was looking for a location to photograph this lovely dress from coldLogic, I stumbled across Ocho Tango, described as "...a land dedicated to tango, with a milonga for dancing and live concerts."
I HAD to tp over and I'm glad I did!

Of course the perfect spot for the photo was beside the chicken, that cleverly doubles as the Intan single dance ball, lol.  The music and the design of the sim is engaging and absolutely delightful.  I'll be back to dance for sure!

Collabor88 and Gos

A visit to Collabor88 yielded the perfect outfit for a lazy Sunday afternoon.  Top and shorts are by {fd} and are oh so cute!  I added mesh feet and flip flops from Gos to complete this casual look.

I managed to get in to the Truth Hair sale this morning and the style I'm wearing is called Zendaya...I've been trying to get in for several days and was so happy when I landed inside the shop.  I picked up lots of mesh hair for only $75 L each and I'll be showing them in future blog posts.

It was a great day to shop and a great day to be lazy!

Time Sensitive Gift From Chrysalis!

This beautiful mesh gown is a free group gift from Chrysalis!  It is only available for three days, so hurry over to Chrysalis to pick it up.  It is located upstairs in the outlet.  While you are there, take a look at the stunning gowns and outfits in the shop.... creativity abounds!

The skin I'm wearing is also a free group gift... this one from Al Vulo.  I love the make up and the sweet look of this face.  There is a little highlight just below the lower eyelid that makes the eyes pop! A wonderful skin that I will be wearing often!

Twisted Color Challenge Week 7 - Truffle Valley

I'm 7 weeks late joining this wonderful color challenge for bloggers hosted by Sookie Triellis.  Better late than never, I always say!

 

The color combo for this week's challenge is called Truffle Valley.  Makes me think of little pink pigs rooting out truffles in a misty valley somewhere.... well one can dream, lol.

 

My take on this color combination features clothing from Ricielli.  The scarf is from R.icielli's Valentine Hunt that is currently in progress and the top is one I bought while doing this wonderful hunt.  Even the skin & eyeliner I'm wearing are Valentine Hunt prizes!

19,000 Members Group Gift @ Purple Moon Creations

Poulet Koenkamp has done it again! Once again she has gifted members of the Purple Moon Creations group with an utterly gorgeous design!

 

The gown is called 'Dragonfly' and bottom of the skirt is indeed adorned with pretty silver dragonflies. The skirt creates a bold yet elegant silhouette and the gloves and silver bowed sash are just the right touch to complete this gorgeous ensemble.

 

The gown is given in celebration of reaching 19,000 members in the Purple Moon Creations group... Nineteen THOUSAND!  What an accomplishment!



I'm also wearing the latest group gift from Truth called January. It comes as a fatpack with several colors... another generous gift from a wonderful designer!  My eyes are from IKON, Kaleido in Island.  The photos were taken at C i c a,  the wonderful black and white line drawing art installation.

Peace On Earth Hunt Blog

POE Hunt - Angel Dessous, Vendome, and Dulce Secrets

 

I am deeply honored to have been selected as one of the official bloggers for the Peace On Earth Hunt.  This hunt is one of the most highly anticipated events in SL because the gifts offered by the creators are of the highest quality and the hunt itself is so well organized by the director, Sequoia Nightfire.  I will do my very best to show hunt gifts in the best light possible.

 

Today I am highlighting gifts from Angel Dessous, Vendome Jewelry, and Dulce Secrets.  The lovely gown I'm wearing is from Angel Dessous.  The gown is a dark red with a lovely black fur collar and lace trimmed gloves.  It would be a wonderful gown to wear to one of the many winter balls or Christmas parties that abound during the holiday season. 

I added this sweet Peace necklace in gold from Vendome Jewelry.  It fits perfectly above the fur trim of the gown.  The skin I am wearing is the hunt gift from Dulce Secrets.  It is actually a fat pack and contains 6 different tones.  I'm wearing the Malibu Winter Glitter tone in the photo above.

I found a wonderful sim for photos, Winter Holiday Village.  It is decorated for Christmas and offers skating, sledding, and horse-drawn buggy rides. There were quite a few others there enjoying the atmosphere and activities during my visit and I know I will return with friends to relax and immerse myself in this gorgeous winter wonderland.

Home

Home... what a wonderful place.  After wandering aimlessly for the past year, I've found my way back to my beginnings and to the friends who shared that wonderful time with me.  The friends who never gave up on me... knowing that one day I'd return.  We were seperated by an unfortunate series of events and we each carry scars that only time and faith will heal, but we are stronger, wiser, full of grace, and blessed as a result. :)
