Designer Showcase - Liv Glam and BSD Design Studio

The fun never ends at Designer Showcase!  Today I'm wearing Liv Glam's gorgeous outfit called "I'm Into You".  I love the tapestry texture of the halter top and the high waist pants are delightfully cut to create a gorgeous silhouette.  I've added a fantastic handbag from BSD Design Studio, also available at Designer Showcase.

I added jewelry from Yummy that is out now for Collabor88 and my hair is a very sexy style from CaTwA.  Shoes are the fabulous Ursula from Gos and skin is Isla from League.

Nylon Outfitters @ Collabor88

The new edition of Collabor88 is the best ever!  The theme is "Baroque" and the designers have simply outdone themselves!  Collabor88 is celebrating their first birthday and there are almost twice the number of vendors involved this time around!

This wonderful outfit from Nylon Outfitters caught my eye immediately!  I love the colors, the interesting combination of elements and textures.  Oh, and it's not mesh! (That's for all my friends who haven't quite embraced mesh yet, lol!)

I did some inventory diving and found the plum leggings from Slut and the G Field mesh boots (Gina in purple).

The Yummy Moonsung earrings and necklace, also available at Collabor88, fit in perfectly with the outfit.  My skin is Glam Affair's Roza BaroQ 03.  There are three versions of Rosa on display at Collabor88... I chose the third and added eyeshadow from Mons and lipgloss from luju. 

My hair is another gorgeous mesh style from Elikatira called "Found".  I'm wearing the Blonde 07 shade from the Essentials pack. 

I love this "baroque" look so much... I think I'll go play my harpsichord now. :)

Fibromyalgia Awareness Day Fair

Fibromyalgia affects between 3 and 6 million Americans and approximately 90% of those affected are female.  It causes widespread muscle pain, fatigue, disrupted sleep, and a host of other unpleasant symptoms that wreak havoc on the lives of those it affects.  It is a chronic condition and there is no known cure.  I know it well...... it has been my constant companion for the past thirteen years. 

Saturday, May 12th is National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day and thanks to Second Life Resident Ariana Petrova, the day is being marked with events spread over three days, comprising the first Fibromyalgia Awareness Day Fair in SL.

The Fashionista Hunt and The Dressing Room Blue

Friday evening turned out to be a great night for hunting and shopping in SL.  I began The Fashionista Hunt and scored this fantastic mini dress from the Static Clothing Co. at my very first stop!  I found the Stripes Earrings and Necklace at The Dressing Room Blue, courtesy of Glow Studio.  I'm wearing Forest Eyes, a Gacha prize from Amacci available at Fashion for Life.

I Will Catch You, But You Might Break The Fall

Today I'm showing the latest group gift from Al Vulo.  This skin is called "Corinna" and is free to group members.  My hair is "Karena" from Exile and I'm wearing it in Fawn.  This style is the free color demo hair and is a great way to try out all of Exile's hair colors.  I'm wearing Dreamcatcher jewelry from Apple May Designs.  I love this set and I'm finding myself wearing it with lots of different outfits.

I love this off-shoulder chiffon top from GField.  It looks so light and airy and the daisies give it such a summery feel.  I paired it with Heidi jeans from Doppelganger and the new Alex T-Strap shoes from GField.

I mentioned in a previous post that I purchased the "Comfort Is Home" prefab from Designer Prims at the Back To Black event.  I simply love this little house!  It comes with the furnishings I'm showing here and is packed with animations and texture changes.  Furnished it weighs in at 116 prims and unfurnished it is only 45 prims.  All lighting and furniture are not linked so they are easily removed if needed.

The fireplace and sink are touch on and off and the sink is animated for those times when you just need to wash dishes. :)

The stove is animated as well.  Looks like I need to go shopping for pots and pans!

Whew!  After all that cooking and cleaning, it's time to relax on this animated couch with texture change pillow.  I love this house and it has become my favorite "home away from home".
