LIV Glam @ Designer Showcase

The April edition of Designer Showcase is out and ready for your shopping pleasure!  I was certainly pleased by this gorgeous floral dress from LIV Glam!  It elegantly announces "spring" with deeper and richer colors than the usual pastels that we see this season.  It is beautifully designed and a joy to wear... the mesh is nice and "thick" so I can move about without my skin breaking through the mesh.  I really like that.  Some of my favorite mesh outfits look fantastic when I'm standing still, but have the problem of "break-through" skin showing as I move.  I'm not an expert by any means, just a consumer who notices such things and I have a deep appreciation for designers who make the mesh "thick" enough to avoid such problems.  "Thick" is my own word... one that I chose simply because I'm not well-versed in the mechanics and terminology of mesh creation and it seems to fit what I'm trying to describe. Special thanks to the designer for making such a quality item!

My hair is a wonderful style in a deep red tone from Wasabi Pills.  I love the way it frames my face!  My eyes are from IKON's Horizon Eyes collection and love the way they are exquisitely highlighted.  Jewelry is from Purple Moon Creations, a set I picked up in a past hunt called "Margo".  My skin is League's Jen in DeepTan. 

I took the photo in my new and very empty house, the Midsomer Cottage from Pamela Galli.  I love this mesh house and hope to have it decorated soon.  The wall decor behind me is called Fly Away and is from What Next.

Purple Moon Creations - 20,000 Members Group Gift

The gorgeous gown I'm wearing is a free gift from Purple Moon Creations for group members.  It is graciously given by the creator, Paulet Koenkamp to celebrate reaching the amazing number of  20,000 group members!  The gown is a delightful blend of bright colors set against a turquoise background.  It is adorned with flowers to be worn on the chest and in the hair.

The earrings and necklace I'm wearing is from Rebel Hope.  Hair is from LeLutka, one of my favorite updos simply named "Knotted".  Skin is from League and the gorgeous eyes are from IKON.

19,000 Members Group Gift @ Purple Moon Creations

Poulet Koenkamp has done it again! Once again she has gifted members of the Purple Moon Creations group with an utterly gorgeous design!

 

The gown is called 'Dragonfly' and bottom of the skirt is indeed adorned with pretty silver dragonflies. The skirt creates a bold yet elegant silhouette and the gloves and silver bowed sash are just the right touch to complete this gorgeous ensemble.

 

The gown is given in celebration of reaching 19,000 members in the Purple Moon Creations group... Nineteen THOUSAND!  What an accomplishment!



I'm also wearing the latest group gift from Truth called January. It comes as a fatpack with several colors... another generous gift from a wonderful designer!  My eyes are from IKON, Kaleido in Island.  The photos were taken at C i c a,  the wonderful black and white line drawing art installation.

Home... what a wonderful place.  After wandering aimlessly for the past year, I've found my way back to my beginnings and to the friends who shared that wonderful time with me.  The friends who never gave up on me... knowing that one day I'd return.  We were seperated by an unfortunate series of events and we each carry scars that only time and faith will heal, but we are stronger, wiser, full of grace, and blessed as a result. :)

It's Not Mesh - Look #3

Today I'm showing you the gorgeous Elwing Gown from Purple Moon Creations.  It flows beautifully and the details are simply divine.  There are prim roses at the hip where the skirt opens to expose the leg and a scattering of roses up and down the dress.  I love the way it shimmers.

The bracelet and earrings are gifts from Chop Zuey... the bracelet is a group gift for members ($350L to join but well worth it) and the earrings are a free gift for everyone offered as part of Chop Zuey's birthday celebration.  Special thanks to Chop Zuey's creator, Belle Roussel, for being so generous with her customers and for making some of the most amazing jewelry in Second Life.

I adore this look and will wear it often.  And... it's not mesh! :)

Going Retro At The Black Market

The Black Market is now open in a new location with lots of wonderful items to choose from.  I found this fun retro print mesh dress from QE Designs and couldn't wait to put it on!  I really like the colors and the print.  I paired it with Purple Moon Creation's Bubble Earrings in Orange... a set of earrings that I've won not once but three times while shopping at Purple Moon!  (Another reason I love to shop at Purple Moon!)

My hair is the always lovely London Rain from Exile and I'm wearing it in Marone.  The skin I'm wearing is my latest favorite, Glam Affair's Cassiopea in Jamaica.  Shoes are Mstyle's Goshi pumps and nails are Izzie's Metallic Nails.
