Get Your Tango On!

As I was looking for a location to photograph this lovely dress from coldLogic, I stumbled across Ocho Tango, described as "...a land dedicated to tango, with a milonga for dancing and live concerts."
I HAD to tp over and I'm glad I did!

Of course the perfect spot for the photo was beside the chicken, that cleverly doubles as the Intan single dance ball, lol.  The music and the design of the sim is engaging and absolutely delightful.  I'll be back to dance for sure!

Color Challenge Week 42 - Cosmic

This week's color was much easier to find than last week's Antique Brass.  I found the outfit as a $55L Manager's Choice at Purple Moon Creations.  Easy peasy!

Happy May Day!

It's May Day and what better way to celebrate than to dress up in a pretty spring dress!  I found this lovely teal strapless dress at Leri Miles Designs.  There were so many colors to choose from but I finally settled on this one.  I added G Field's Kate Bow Strap Shoes in Teal that added just the right amount of flirtiness to this look.

When I began looking for jewelry to add to this outfit, I remembered this set that I'd seen on The Marketplace from Dark Mouse Jewelry... and each piece was on sale... only $50L!  My skin is League's Jen in Deep Tan and my hair is a gorgeous new style from Truth called "Georgina".  It is not mesh so take note non-meshers!  My eyes are from the new Horizon collection from IKON and I'm wearing them in Light Blue.  I decided to snap the photos at Lisp's $10L Garden to remind you that there are some incredible bargains there and the furniture is exceptional!

Vero Modero Easter Egg Hunt - Part 1

What fun!  Vero Modero is having an Easter Egg Hunt!  There are twelve eggs hidden around the shop, six containing gifts for men and six containing gifts for women.  Clicking on the hunt sign just outside one of the doors will give you a list of hints to help you find the eggs.

This lovely top and skirt were in one of the eggs that I found.  I added some of my favorite jewelry from Apple May Designs and LaGyo.  A great look for spring!

Color Challenge Week 13 - Tea Green

This is one of my most favorite colors and one that always makes me think of spring!  My skirt and top are from GField and let me say the textures are glorious!  The skirt is sculpted but skillful sculpting and a helpful alpha make it fit beautifully and look amazing!  A bit of inventory diving yielded a lovely pearl jewelry set from Dark Mouse that was offered as a free gift at the 2011 Jewelry Fair.  My hair is a freebie from Beautiful Dirty Rich, and my skin is Alice from Al Vulo.

I ♥ Retro

Today's look started with the hair, Ella from Mina (available in The Black Market) ..... I knew when I tried it on exactly what would follow!  I love retro fashion and one of my favorite shops to feed my need for retro is Icing. 

At Icing, I found this gorgeous red "Just Swing" dress.  I love the shape of the bodice and the skirt... oh my!  It is just perfect for dancing and twirling about!  I spied the Princess Black Pearl jewelry set and quickly put them on, but there was something missing... aha!  I found the "Marilyn" glasses complete with rhinestones!  Oh my, I do love this look. :)

Epoch-Legend Clowning

Today I took a trip to the Epoch-Legend Fashion and Art Festival.  The festival  is divided into three themes: Art of Escher, Beast, and Clowning.  I was in the mood for fun, so I chose Clowning. :)

Here I found an awesome mesh ringmaster style outfit from The Secret Store.  It is available in four colors and includes everything but the boots.  I had great fun browsing the creative offerings from the various designers.  I picked up the Clowning Makeup from Milk Motion's display.  

The hair that I'm wearing with this outfit has been languishing in my inventory ever since Hair Fair 2011, just waiting for the perfect outfit to come along.  Hurray!  I found it!  The hair is from Ohmai and I'm wearing it in the happiest shade of carrot imaginable.  Unfortunately there is not a landmark in the hair folder and SL search did not turn up any leads to an inworld shop.  If anyone knows where to find this hair, let me know and I'll add a slurl!

After putting together my ensemble, I had to find the perfect spot to snap a few photos.  SL Search came to the rescue and I quickly landed at Beautiful Freaks Burlesque Circus.  What fun!

Daisy Daisy

Daisies and the color yellow always make me think of spring.  Today I'm showing you a lovely strapless dress from Reale that is the perfect shade of yellow and covered in daisies.  The "A Daisy For You" jewelry set from Dark Mouse is so pretty and goes so well with this dress.  The skin is "Emma" from Tuli and my hair is "Astrid" from Truth Hair.  I finished off the look with the new Alex t-straps from GField in metallic gold.

I Will Catch You, But You Might Break The Fall

Today I'm showing the latest group gift from Al Vulo.  This skin is called "Corinna" and is free to group members.  My hair is "Karena" from Exile and I'm wearing it in Fawn.  This style is the free color demo hair and is a great way to try out all of Exile's hair colors.  I'm wearing Dreamcatcher jewelry from Apple May Designs.  I love this set and I'm finding myself wearing it with lots of different outfits.

I love this off-shoulder chiffon top from GField.  It looks so light and airy and the daisies give it such a summery feel.  I paired it with Heidi jeans from Doppelganger and the new Alex T-Strap shoes from GField.

I mentioned in a previous post that I purchased the "Comfort Is Home" prefab from Designer Prims at the Back To Black event.  I simply love this little house!  It comes with the furnishings I'm showing here and is packed with animations and texture changes.  Furnished it weighs in at 116 prims and unfurnished it is only 45 prims.  All lighting and furniture are not linked so they are easily removed if needed.

The fireplace and sink are touch on and off and the sink is animated for those times when you just need to wash dishes. :)

The stove is animated as well.  Looks like I need to go shopping for pots and pans!

Whew!  After all that cooking and cleaning, it's time to relax on this animated couch with texture change pillow.  I love this house and it has become my favorite "home away from home".
